VOLUNTEER ON OPERA STAGE!
-Have you ever dreamed about performing on stage side-by-side with the
opera singers?
-Do you represent one of many diverse cultures of the world that enrich
the Polish society?
– Are you currently based in Krakow?
If you answered three times _yes_, this call is for you!
The Opera Rara Festival is currently looking for volunteers to join the
cast of a new opera production to be premiered on the historical stage
of the Juliusz Słowacki Theater. Previous artistic experience is
welcome but not necessary. The artistic team of the production offers a
basic acting and movement training as a part of this call.
The Opera Rara Festival is organised by the City of Krakow, Krakow
Festival Office and Capella Cracoviensis, with the support of the
Juliusz Slowacki Theatre. The event includes rarely performed works
alongside opera repertoire in brand-new adaptations, with the ambition
to juxtapose the traditional and the provocative facets of opera.
The candidates should be available on the following dates:
– 16 December 2019 (in the evening) – selection of the candidates
– 12-30 January 2020 – rehearsals and four performances (exact hours of
the rehearsals will be coordinated accordingly to the availability of
the candidates).
