Second educational session of the Visegrad Academy of Cultural Management (VACuM2) in Lviv

 

Second part of Visegrad Academy of Cultural Management training is staring on March 17 in Lviv. The Academy constitutes training sessions for young cultural managers from 10 countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Czech Republic, Georgia, Moldavia, Poland, Slovakia, Ukraine and Hungary. Persons working for public and private institutions and non-governmental organizations in the Visegrad Group countries and Eastern Partnership countries were invited for cooperation. In the group of specialists on culture management, they will keep developing their international cultural projects.

 

Each day, classes are conducted by the Pedagogic Team: Milica Ilic, Ania Danilewicz. The lecturers will be leading European specialists in the field of culture management (Bob Palmer, Franco Bianchini, Michele Quere, Danuta Palmer and others). 

 

Young managers will also take part in meetings with Bozhena Zakaliuzna, Director of Jam Factory Art Center and Harald Binder Cultural Enterprises, and debate with HE Jan Piekło, Ambassador of Poland to Ukraine, Andriy Moskalenko, Deputy Mayor for Development Issues and Taras Woznyak, – culture expert, political scientist,  General Director of Lviv National Art Gallery.  The training will last until March 24.

 

More information about the project and the seminar can be found at www.vacum.eu .The final session which is a part of the Visegrad Academy of Cultural Management will take place in Krakow between 27 30 May 2018. The project will end a 3-day Open Seminar.

 

The organizer of the project is the Villa Decius Association, whereas the strategic founder of the event is the International Visegrad Fund.
