On Sunday the 4th of August at 7.00 p.m. you are heartily welcome to another part of the Gardens of Creativity 2013 project. This time, the Witkacy Theatre from Zakopane will present the recital of Katarzyna Pietrzyk, based on the texts of Wisława Szymborska, entitled: “The World, Second Edition.” The recital will take place in Villa Decius. “I was charmed by the poet’s wit, her inclination for self-irony, her wisdom and the ability to discover the extraordinary in ordinary things. I perceive these intimate poems as small masterpieces with a complete form and an astonishing, pertinent punch line. Fragments of some of them, even though they derive from various poems, make up a logical whole for me,” says Katarzyna Pietrzyk.
