The 5th Joseph Conrad International Literature Festival held two meetings with our grant holders. On 23 October, Hans-Peter Kunisch and Mario Kaiser – the grant holders of the Creative Grants 2013 programme discussed the existence of a specific “memory of a place” and “geography of memory”. The evening was hosted by Paweł Zarychta. On the fourth day of the festival, 24 October, the literary café – Café Szafe, held a night slam starring Ivan Štrpka, András Forgách, Ivana Myškova, Anka Herbut and Christian Hussel.
