We would like to invite everyone to the screening of Marta Dzido and Piotr Śliwowski’s film entitled “Solidarity According to Women” (Polish: “Solidardność według kobiet”) which will take place at Villa Decius on the 15th of July (Wednesday) at 3:00 p.m. as part of the Visegrad Summer School (6-18 July 2015). Admission is free!
The feature-length documentary entitled “Solidarity According to Women” tells the story of over a dozen brave Polish women, whose wisdom, determination, and involvement in the opposition of the 1980s contributed to the change of the political realities in Poland. What holds the two planes of the film together is the figure of its co-director and narrator ‒ Marta Dzido.
