“Condemned to Books” ‒ episode seven

The central figure of the last episode of the “Condemned to Books” series ‒ Zbigniew Masternak ‒ is a Polish prose writer, screenwriter, dramatist, and footballer. He graduated from Screenwriting at the Krakow School of Film and Audiovisual Communication in 2009. As a prose writer, he debuted in the “Twórczość” monthly in 2000. He is working on an autobiographical series of novels entitled “Księstwo” (The Heritage); three books were already published in the years 2006-2008: “Chmurołap” (Cloud Catcher), “Niech żyje wolność” (Long Live Freedom), and “Scyzoryk” (Swiss Army Knife), on the basis of which Andrzej Barański filmed his movie “Księstwo” (The Heritage; 2011).
