Arranging is a term that most often refer to the world of music and musical works, which are given a new sound image by arranging them. An arrangement is, in other words, the creative development of an already existing work. And although the world of music is extremely interesting, during the next meeting to popularize knowledge under the project entitled “Cross-sectoral challenges: specialist in the protection of cultural goods in the event of a crisis and war – development of a postgraduate study program, dedicated to employees working at the frontiers of fields.” we will talk about a different type of arrangement, namely a conservation arrangement.
– What is a conservation arrangement relating to architectural monuments?
– Where do the differences in the contemporary understanding of the term “conservation arrangement” come from and what is the etymology of the above term?
– Does each arrangement of monuments deserve the name of conservation?
On May 20 (Thursday) at At 12:00, via the Zoom platform and online broadcast, we will meet with experts in the field of maintenance: Mrs. Bożena Boba-Dyga and Mr. Waldemar Komorowski. During the meeting, numerous examples of arrangements will be presented, incl. architectural complexes, facades, interiors, various styles of arrangement. The concept of the so-called conservative conservation and reconstructions and their scope. Participants of the meeting will be presented with various phases of the transformation of monuments.

– The project “Cross-sectoral challenges: specialist in the protection of cultural assets in the event of a crisis and war – developing a postgraduate program dedicated to employees working on the borderline” – benefits from the funding of EUR 183,000 received from Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway under the EEA funds. The aim of the project is to develop a new field of postgraduate studies from scratch.
The European Economic Area (EEA) funds are jointly financed by Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway, whose contributions are based on their GDP. The funds for 2014-2021 amount to EUR 1.55 billion, and the priority areas for action in this period include innovation, social inclusion, culture, good governance as well as education and competitiveness.
