A new mural in Düsseldorf – “Res publica reloaded”

Between the 7th and the 10th of April 2015, another meeting of the participants of the international “Res publica reloaded – European public spaces as a source of empowerment” project took place in Düsseldorf. The Villa Decius Association is the project’s Polish partner. Young cultural managers and representatives of non-governmental organisations from the Netherlands and Poland learned about the German experiences connected with the use of art in the public space.

The meeting was hosted by the Arbeit und Leben organisation. One of the effects of the visit was also the creation of a mural in one of Düsseldorf’s districts. The work is the result of the collaboration of street artists – Benjamin Benrakad and Sandor Sweet from the Juicie Graphics group. The mural was created thanks to the hospitality of German artist Klaus Klinger – member and founder of the Farbfieber group.
