As part of the celebration of the Miłosz Year, we would like to invite you to a meeting devoted to the presentation of the person and work of the Poet and his inspiring influence on artists from various fields of art. The meeting will begin with a conversation-recollection about and of Czesław Miłosz, which will be attended by invited guests, experts and art lovers of the works of the Polish Nobel Prize winner, including Agnieszka Kosińska, secretary of the Poet, Tomasz Fiałkowski and Andrzej Strumiłło.
It will be followed by an open-air concert of Brevis Consort band entitled “Listening to Miłosz,” and an exhibition of works by Andrzej Strumiłło, created on request of FOUNDATION f.o.r.t.e., inspired by and dedicated to the last series of Miłosz’s poems. As part of the exhibition, visitors will have an opportunity to see multimedia projections, which, in a very original and innovative way, present photographs connected with the person of Czesław Miłosz.
