We have the true pleasure of inviting you to the 15th jubilee edition of the “Cracovia Danza” Court Dance Festival. The main motif of this year’s Festival is “Music and Court Dance.” This provides an opportunity for presenting dance and music performances, where roles of dancers and musicians are equal, whereas the final effect of the presentation results from the combination of both arts. A performance entitled “Concordances” was prepared specially for the jubilee edition. It is going to be presented by three ensembles from France: “Compagnie Outre Mesure”, “Ensemble Donaïres”, “Compagnie RenaiDanse”; in the course of it, musicians and dancers are going to maintain dialogue in excellence.
A novelty at the Festival are going to be special music courses for musicians performing dance repertoire, inter alia in Renaissance style, conducted under the supervision of Robin Joli from France and in Baroque style, conducted by Anna Śliwa from Poland.
Organizers of the Festival are Court Ballet Cracovia Danza, Ardente Sole Foundation and the Villa Decius Association.
