The third edition of our “Hip Hop, Put Hate to Stop” workshops carried out as part of the Citizens for Democracy programme, financed from the EEA Funds, took place between 15 and 17 October and 20 and 21 October 2014.This time, we visited the A. Zamoyski Secondary School in Jadów in the Masovian Region.
During the five-day workshops, students learned stage improvisation methods, perfected the art of public speeches and teamwork, and sang the “Large Dogs Don’t Bark” song together, written by Jacek “Budyń” Szymkiewicz especially for the purposes of the project.Each day, the participants were accompanied by a film crew recording all of the project activities that will be presented in a documentary.Its premiere has been planned for the second half of 2015.
The aim of the project is to combat discrimination and hate speech with the use of self-mockery, humour, music, and film.
