On 30 October 2014, the Villa Decius Association launched the Decius’ Ducats programme popularising knowledge of the economy, history, and numismatics.Students from ten primary schools from Małopolska were invited to take part in this unusual “night history class”.The history of money from antiquity to the present, its value and role ‒ these are just a few of the topics the primary school pupils will talk about with the experts.
Experts and specialists in economy and culture will talk about the development of economy, the monetary policies of Poland and the EU, numismatics, and the Renaissance and its outstanding representatives.The programme will be carried out between 30 October and 28 November.
