We are very happy to inform that until May 15th we have received 82 full applications and that 261 profiles of candidates were open by candidates who come from 14 countries. The process of recruitment will close on 1st June 2014 with announcement of the approved candidates. The list of participants will be published at www.vacum.eu.
20 cultural professionals from 10 countries will be selected to participate in VACuM training. The course will enable them to develop capacities and managerial skills needed for both cultural cooperation and reform processes in their countries.
Visegrad Academy of Cultural Management (VACuM) is 24 month training for young professionals working in cultural field in Visegrad Group (V4) and Eastern Partnership (EaP) states designed in a way which allows carrying on their professional tasks. The course includes: 2 Training Sessions (in V4, Poland and Czech Republic); development of project (in home country) and study visit (V4 or EaP); 1 Diploma Seminar (Georgia). It enables participants to develop capacities and managerial skills needed for both cultural cooperation and reform processes in their countries.

The Visegrad Academy of Cultural Management is a part of the Platform for Advanced Studies – a project co-financed by the Narodowy Bank Polski. The main objective of the project is to develop a platform for advanced studies, which is alternative to regulation studies and is aimed at acquiring advanced knowledge in the area of culture and economics, including the role and mission of the Narodowy Bank Polski, national and European financial policy and shaping of attitudes favourable to international cooperation and the development of entrepreneurship.
