We invite you to the conference “The Power of Art I: Defending a transnational understanding of European culture” organized by Akademie der Künste through the European Alliance of Academies.
The Villa Decius Association is a member of the European Alliance of Academies – aims at initiating a network of art academies and cultural institutions across Europe – a transnational collaboration that advocates for the freedom of the arts. Villa Decius is part of the EAA, as one of the four cultural institutions in Poland.
At the conference “The Power of Art I: Defending a transnational understanding of European culture”, the Villa Decius Association will share its experience in organizing residency programs, in particular:
– Visegrad Literary Residences;
– Residencies for screenwriters and playwrights;
– Residencies of Alliance Scholars at Risk.;
An event by the European Alliance of Academies initiated and organized by the Akademie der Künste and Círculo de Bellas Artes de Madrid in cooperation with the Embassy of the German Federal Republic in Madrid. Funded by the Federal Agency for Civic Education (bpb) and the Madrid Region.
