Akademia Treningu Antydyskryminacyjnego. Zakończenie projektu

Marks the second year of meetings, workshops and work together contestants and participants The Academy of Anti-discrimination Training. Two editions of the Academy, implemented from September 2008 to September 2010, included participation in interpersonal training, coaching and learning skills to acquire knowledge of current workshops preparing to conduct anti-discrimination and intercultural competence of workshops. Persons involved in the Academy organized and conducted a 16-hour training supervized diploma in their communities. 4th September in Villa Decius, persons participated in the second edition received diplomas from the Academy.

 

Graduates of the two editions of the project is 50 people associated with NGOs and the wider education, working throughout the country. Knowledge and experience gained at the Academy of use in its projects, especially in the work of coaching. The range of training is very broad, they include gender workshops, training on equal opportunities policies in the European Funds, anti-homofobic workshops, training of intercultural sensitivity and cultural competence training for their stay abroad and strengthening the Poles already living there, a workshop on understanding of Polish culture for immigrants and foreigners, workshops Readaptation for refugees and returnees, and training anti-romofobic anti-islamofobic.

 

The project is being prepared coaching manual “Education of anti-discrimination “, the first such publication in Poland. In addition to knowledge of the skills of trainers, the manual also includes specific competencies and discuss ethical issues relevant to people involved in anti-discrimination education. Presented the current state of knowledge concerning the areas of discrimination in Poland, anti-violent behavior and promote equality.
