We put the topic of cultural heritage in the centre. During open lectures we talk about how to animate cultural activities, design projects and events in order to adapt them to the needs of the local community. During the meetings we consider the impact of activities and projects on reality at every level: institutional, social, local and media.
The Villa Decius Association together with the Foundation for Polish-German Cooperation and the Literary Colloquium Berlin selected residents for the Scriptwriting Scholarships 2019 program.
Everybody is welcome to submit their nominations for Candidates to the 16th edition of the Polish Prize of Sérgio Vieira de Mello, the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights (2002-2003). Nominations of candidates to the Prize will be accepted until July 14 this year. Registration takes place electronically. The announcement of results and the ceremony of presenting the Prize will take place on 24 October, 2019 at Villa Decius.
Rethink Past & Design Future is the main theme of this year’s School, during which we discuss many topics important for our region. This year it is the 15th anniversary of the Visegrad countries’ accession to the EU, Media and Freedom in Central Europe, the role of Ukraine in today’s Europe, issues related to the migration crisis after 2015 and an introduction to the topic of relations in Central Europe.
