This is an annual artistic family picnic, organized in the historic interiors and grounds of Villa Decius (the 16th such picnic will take place in 2013). The artistic concept of the picnic is based on the dialogue between history and the contemporary world and an integration of various artistic disciplines such as the visual arts, dance, theatre and music. The event also involves performances by children’s and teenagers’ music ensembles as well as well-known artists. It is addressed to children and teenagers from primary and secondary schools, culture clubs and also to the general public and visitors to the city. The main idea of Sundays at Villa Decius is to promote education through play.
